Vision is not just what we see but how we see. Our vision becomes an interpretive lens for everything else. We are to reclaim the apostolic vision, according to which God is the initiator of three things: He severs, He calls and He reveals. It pleases God to reveal His Son in us, and to do this, He has to first sever us from our context, from our genetic, environmental and psychic determinisms.
There are things that are true of us in Christ now that we cannot see nor appreciate because of the numerous things veiling our minds. “The Apostolic Vision” is an unveiling of the first century apostolic mindset that we are to adopt in beholding the vision of Christ, and the transformation of our world.
