The Father-Son relation is the heart of the New Testament. We have been made sons in the Son but we need to know how to live as sons. Living as sons is not simply a matter of nature but of stature. There has to be union and communion.
“Living as Sons” is an exhaustive study on the Parable of the Prodigal Son, a comparing and a contrasting between licentiousness and legalism, a categorization of immaturity within the household of God. When that which motivates us is driven by our senses, we are immature. The immature does not have a concept of God based on the Father-Son relation but through the Law. We are to learn how to live our sonship in Christ.
